Mr and Mrs Neuenschwander's wedding in Switzerland 09/2010

In September, Bastian and I were invited to our friend's wedding. We just flew in for the weekend and were actually longer in the plane than in Switzerland itself. Due to last minute bookings, my flight took almost twenty-four hours (one way). But it was really worth it. The wedding was like a fairy tale. Beautiful bride, awesome location and a party we will never forget!

Weekend activities in Singapore

Sunday run at the Fortcanning Park. In Singapore, there is too much good food.

So it is really necessary, that we do some sport activities over the weekend.

And here is some of the good food that we enjoy in Singapore: Brown glutinous rice dessert.

Jasmin's visit in Singapore

Jasmin is a good old friend from Germany, who visited us for a

longer weekend in Singapore.
She helped me with some wedding preparations (Unfortunately I cannot tell more, but you will see on the wedding day itself :O) and we enjoyed some sightseeing and good food together.

Nikoi Island - We cannot get enough!

The morning after Bastian's Birthday, we went to Nikoi Island again. I cannot exactly remember, but we have been at least five times on the island and it is always a truly amazing holiday.

Again and again.

When the ferry left at around 8am from Singapore, it was raining heavily and the sea was pretty rough. On Nikoi itself, it was also not the nicest weather. Reason for Bastian and me to take a little nap. We woke up four hours later and realized, it was already dinner time.

The next day we had perfect weather, blue sky and a nice cooling sea breeze. You cannot ask for more.

With only 15 huts, the island is very small and although it was fully booked, you always feel like you are the only one at the beach.

Nobody except us is having lunch? Bastian and I love this huge dining table, which fits roughly 24 people and is made from one piece of wood.

Bastian's 31 Birthday

Bastian turned 31 on July 31. I was preparing a little breakfast with a freshly baked cake. And of course he receiceved a lot of presents...

Bastian had a soccer tournament that day, but I suprised him in the evening with some selfmade tomato soup, grilled salmon and Tiramisu. I guess it was a bit too much food for the two of us. Afterwards it was "Gold Class" time: We watched Inception with Leonadrio di Caprio. As the Singaporeans would say "The movie was okay la", but we enjoyed a relaxed evening :O)
