Chritine's Farewell Party

It was Christine's last day in San Francisco before leaving back to
Switzerland again. Her friends organized a farewell party for her
and we will definitely remember this evening:

Our weekend trip to Sonoma and Nappa Valley, where we had some wine tastings at Mondavi and Kunde Estate. After a few glasses of wine, Mum was getting funny and joking around!


We drove the Highway No. 1 down to Santa Monica and Los Angeles.

Weekend trip to Chicago

It was Labour Day Weekend and together with our friends Lynn and Grace we spent a wonderful weekend in Chicago!

The first day we went to the Art Institute of Chicago, where we saw drawings of Monet, Kandinski and Gauguin. With three nice girls, Bastian had for sure a lot of fun!!!

On a clear and sunny day, we made a boat trip and enjoyed Chicago's scenery!

Birthday Boy July 2007

It was Bastian's Birthday and we organized a barbecue party on our spacious patio. After a while, it got quite chilly outside, so we moved location to our living room. We played on Bastian's new Wii and started an awful drinking competition. Everybody had so much fun that night! The next morning, however, all of us were struck with a horrible hangover...

Skydiving Sonoma June 2007

It was my 26th Birthday and Bastian had a big surprise for me. "We will make a daytrip to the north", he told me. I got very excited, as the north is famous for its wonderful wellness farms. But instead, Basti drove me to an old and abandoned airport in Sonoma for skydiving. I was so scared that it took him almost two hours to persuade me to jump out of the airplane.

But I am glad, that I actually made it! It was one of the greatest experience in my life!
